Took UPA to see the doctor. Explained to doctor that dad doesn't want a scope or chemo. Doc refered us to a lung specialist. We were alarmed that dad was at his stage 4 lung cancer. Brother Yong Soon immediately decided to come back home to stay with dad. The doc was 99% sure of dad's condition even though there isn't a scope to further confirm his diagnosis. We were even given the letter of his death cause in event of his demise. Saddened. Dad was discharged in the afternoon because there's nothing the hospital can do if dad doesn't want scope or chemo. We were even prescribed morphine.
I broke the news to school, stating the need to stay at home at night because noone will be at home except mum. It will be too much for mum to bear all the worries. School understands.
